Data Scientist – AI & Generative AI Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Data Scientist who blends strong analytical and modeling expertise with hands‑on AI solution development. You will create predictive models, evaluate complex data sets, and design AI agents and automations that solve real business challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Apply statistical, data‑mining, algorithmic and visualization techniques to model complex problems and deliver actionable insights.
• Build and operationalise machine‑learning models (classification, forecasting, anomaly detection) using Python, Fabric ML, Azure ML or similar tools.
• Design end‑to‑end AI workflows, from data inputs and prompts to integration with existing systems.
• Develop and deploy rapid AI solutions with Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or comparable frameworks.
• Create conversational agents and copilots that embed into business workflows, including RAG and prompt‑engineered solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define objectives, scope and deliverables.
• Present findings, provide stakeholder training and produce technical documentation to ensure reproducibility.

Required profile

• Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline (statistics, economics, mathematics, computer science) OR 3‑5 years of relevant data‑science experience.
• Proven track record of delivering successful AI/ML projects.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset with the ability to engage business users and translate technical outcomes into business value.

Required skills

• Python (or R) for data manipulation, visualization and machine‑learning.
• Azure ML, Microsoft Fabric, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT.
• Power BI, Power Automate, Power Platform (certifications a plus).
• REST APIs, connectors and integration methods.
• Understanding of the ML lifecycle: data preparation, training, evaluation, deployment.
