Data Reporting Specialist (Part‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑driven Data Reporting Specialist to support the Financial Director on a part‑time basis. The role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, creating insightful reports, and delivering advanced Excel‑based analysis to drive informed decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Audit and validate datasets for accuracy, consistency and completeness.
• Develop, maintain and enhance advanced Excel models, including pivot tables, macros, Power Query and dashboards.
• Produce periodic and ad‑hoc reports, and prepare clear visualisations using Power BI where possible.
• Assist in preparing meeting reports, tracking follow‑up actions and maintaining version‑controlled documentation.
• Ensure compliance with data governance standards and organisational processes.
• Coordinate data‑related projects, monitor timelines, deliverables and document progress.
• Liaise with stakeholders to manage priorities and resolve issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in data support or reporting roles.
• Exceptional attention to detail, reliability and proactive ownership of tasks.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency (complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, data validation).
• Power BI Desktop expertise, including DAX, dashboard creation and report publishing.
• Basic SQL querying.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Outlook.
