About the role
NACOSA, a dynamic NGO focused on HIV/AIDS and gender‑based violence, is seeking a Data Quality Officer for its Centurion office. The role supports the USAID‑funded programme by ensuring that all data collected are accurate, reliable and ready for monitoring and evaluation.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct thorough data verification, checking reported figures against source documents and cleaning raw data according to good data‑management practices.
- Write reports and provide feedback on data‑quality issues, highlighting inconsistencies, missing data or errors.
- Collaborate with the programme team to implement systems that improve data quality and review data on CBIMS and the Google Consolidation Tool.
- Assist sub‑awardee M&E teams in assessing and enhancing their data‑quality processes.
- Perform basic data analysis to recommend improvements to data‑quality measures and controls.
- Attend regular M&E workshops, training sessions and meetings as required.
- Visit project sites on a bi‑weekly to annual basis to verify data on‑site.
