Data Analytics Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Data Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic analytics team. The role blends a strong finance or accounting background with data‑analytics expertise to turn raw data into actionable business insights for internal stakeholders and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data pipelines, integrations and ETL processes.
• Extract, transform and load data from multiple source systems into business‑ready datasets.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and other BI tools.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency and integrity across platforms.
• Support financial reporting and analytics by delivering reliable insights.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and clients to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform data modelling and contribute to data‑warehousing initiatives.
• Troubleshoot data‑related issues and continuously improve data processes.
• Assist with client implementations and provide ongoing support.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems or a related field.
• CIMA qualification (completed or in progress) is highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical mindset with commercial and financial acumen.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Required skills

• Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities.
• Experience with ETL processes and data integration.
• Knowledge of data‑warehousing concepts and data modelling.
• Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard and report development.
• Basic knowledge of Python and/or PySpark.
• Understanding of cloud‑based data platforms and data‑engineering principles.
