Customer Services Team Leader (UK Market)

About the role

We are seeking a natural leader with a passion for exceptional customer care and proven experience living and working in the UK. Based in Pinelands, Cape Town, you will support a well‑established UK‑based e‑commerce brand, delivering top‑tier service to a mature clientele while guiding a small team of advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries via telephone and email regarding deliveries, returns, and online orders.
• Act as the main escalation point for complex or difficult queries from the advisory team.
• Partner with the Operations Manager to train, develop, and coach a team of three advisors.
• Operate seamlessly across three internal software systems.
• Foster customer trust and satisfaction to drive retention and support business growth.
• Assist with various office functions as needed in a tight‑knit team setting.

Required profile

• Significant period of residence and employment in the UK.
• Native or authentic British accent with excellent verbal and written English.
• Proven track record in a customer‑facing role.
• Leadership or mentoring experience is highly advantageous.
• Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems simultaneously.
• Proactive, "can‑do" attitude suited to a fast‑paced, small team.
