Customer Service Representative – Solar Services

About the role

Our client, a residential solar company, is looking for a Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for homeowners using their solar solutions. The role involves assisting customers through phone, email or chat, ensuring a smooth experience from initial inquiry to post‑installation support.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries, requests and general information about solar services.
• Handle complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Document interactions, update client records and track follow‑ups in the CRM system.
• Explain processes, timelines and solar‑related information clearly.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department when needed.
• Collaborate with team members and leaders to maintain a consistent client experience.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer service or call‑center environment (preferred).
• Strong phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Excellent time‑management, organization and ability to handle difficult situations with empathy.
• Positive, service‑oriented attitude and a team‑player mindset.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CRM software for managing client interactions.
