Customer Care and Operations Manager

About the role

The Customer Care and Operations Manager will lead warehouse operations and the customer care function, ensuring efficient product delivery and high‑quality service. This senior role combines logistics oversight with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage receiving, warehousing and distribution processes, enforce operational policies and maintain strict inventory control.
• Develop and monitor cost‑reduction initiatives while meeting productivity and quality targets.
• Improve customer service experience, own issue resolution and develop service procedures and reporting.
• Train staff, oversee health & safety compliance and maintain warehouse layout and equipment.

Required profile

• Matriculated with a degree or diploma in Logistics, Warehouse or Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum 10 years warehousing/distribution experience and 5 years in middle or senior management.
• Experience in FMCG distribution and knowledge of EH&S.
• Valid driver’s licence and strong client‑facing communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Syspro or a related ERP system.
• Technical knowledge of warehouse management and distribution technologies.
