About the role

Join Woolworths at George CBD as a Customer Assistant / Replenisher on the food sales floor. You will be the first point of contact for shoppers, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while keeping shelves fully stocked and visually appealing.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer queries and provide friendly assistance.
• Replenish stock, rotate products and maintain planograms.
• Handle food items following hygiene and cold‑chain standards.
• Identify and report quality issues, shrinkage or suspicious activity.
• Keep the department clean, organized and compliant with safety procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum education: Grade 12 or National Certificate equivalent.
• Basic computer literacy for stock management systems.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and reliable time‑management.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and good communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
