CRM Campaign Specialist – Fast‑Paced eCommerce Brand

About the role

We are seeking a technically strong CRM Campaign Specialist to join a fast‑paced eCommerce brand in Cape Town. Reporting to the CRM Manager, you will own end‑to‑end CRM campaigns across email, push notifications and WhatsApp, using data‑driven segmentation and personalisation to boost engagement, retention and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Build, QA, schedule and deploy CRM campaigns across Email, Push and WhatsApp, ensuring accurate delivery.
• Design and optimise automated customer journeys such as welcome, cart abandonment, post‑purchase and win‑back.
• Create behavioural customer segments and deliver personalised content.
• Run A/B tests on subject lines, content, send times and audiences, continuously improving performance.
• Analyse campaign results, identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.
• Produce regular CRM performance reports and present insights to the CRM lead.
• Collaborate with Creative, Brand, Merchandising, Product and Tech teams to coordinate assets and briefs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in CRM, email marketing or marketing automation, preferably in eCommerce or retail.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on data‑driven optimisation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organisational and project‑management skills.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM platforms such as Bloomreach, Netcore, Klaviyo, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Emarsys.
• Basic HTML/CSS for email development and SQL knowledge.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets, GA4, Tableau or Looker Studio.
• Push Notifications and WhatsApp marketing.
• Familiarity with Asana, Jira and Litmus.
