Credit Facilitator

About the role

A leading direct‑selling organisation is looking for a Credit Facilitator to manage credit control across a diverse sales force portfolio. The role focuses on field‑level debt, account monitoring and relationship management, with a clear path toward a Team Leader position.

Key responsibilities

• Manage proactive collections for assigned portfolios, reducing payment defaults and improving financial discipline.
• Facilitate payment arrangements (AODs) and guide the sales force on handling overdue accounts.
• Support implementation of credit policies and recommend updates based on field feedback.
• Act as liaison between the Sales Force and Finance Department to ensure seamless communication.
• Lead onboarding and training for new distributors on credit policies and financial management.
• Gradually assume strategic responsibilities with the goal of transitioning into a Team Lead role.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in credit control, including at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Diploma in Credit Management, Accounting or a related financial field.
• Good working knowledge of the National Credit Act (NCA).
• Fluent in English; ability to speak multiple African languages is essential.
• Analytical, assertive and emotionally intelligent with strong customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Experience with credit management systems.
