Credit Controller – Full‑time (Durbanville)

About the role
The Credit Controller ensures that customers adhere to agreed credit terms while providing prompt support for queries and requests. This full‑time position is based in Durbanville, Cape Town, and plays a key part in maintaining healthy cash flow and customer relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Approve credit applications and continuously vet credit limits.
- Monitor and release blocked orders as a priority to sustain excellent service.
- Allocate payments within defined turnaround times.
- Handle internal and external account queries across all business channels.
- Collect overdue accounts and process adjustment journals and credit notes.
- Recommend customers for handover or collection when necessary.
- Maintain digital records in SAP in line with company policy and legal requirements.
- Communicate account status and collaborate with other departments.
Required profile
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Formal Credit Management qualification (essential).
- 3‑year tertiary qualification in business or finance (advantageous).
- 2‑5 years of full‑cycle credit control experience.
