Cost Controller

About the role

We are seeking a numbers‑driven Cost Controller to join a leading hospitality business in the Cape Winelands. You will play a key role in managing inventory, analysing costs and driving profitability across the operation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage stock control and inventory processes, including regular stock counts.
• Reconcile variances and monitor supplier deliveries and invoice accuracy.
• Analyse food and beverage costs and prepare cost and variance reports.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Partner with operational teams to enhance efficiency and profitability.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in cost control, stock control or a similar role.
• Experience in the hospitality or manufacturing sector.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
