Cost Controller

About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Cost Controller to join the finance team of a well‑established organisation that delivers complex projects across multiple sectors. Based in the Northern Suburbs, you will work closely with operations to monitor project costs, analyse performance and provide financial insights that drive profitability and strategic decision‑making.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and control project costs against approved budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare detailed cost reports and financial analyses for management.
- Track project expenditure and investigate cost variances.
- Assist with project budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow planning.
- Analyse project profitability and recommend actions to improve financial performance.
- Ensure accurate allocation of costs across projects and cost centres.
Required profile
- BCom degree in a related field.
- Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles (beneficial).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a costing role.
