Cosmetics Manager – 40hr Full‑time

About the role

We are looking for a passionate, results‑driven Cosmetics Manager to lead our beauty department and deliver an exceptional customer experience. The role combines strong retail leadership with a genuine passion for beauty, skincare, fragrance and cosmetic trends.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales, turnover and profitability to achieve departmental targets.
• Lead, motivate and develop a high‑performing cosmetics team.
• Recruit, coach and manage staff through performance management and ongoing development.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and beauty consultations.
• Build strong customer relationships that drive loyalty and repeat business.
• Manage stock levels, replenishment and inventory controls to minimise shrinkage.
• Execute cosmetic brand standards, visual merchandising and promotional campaigns.
• Partner with cosmetic brand representatives to maximise sales opportunities and product knowledge.
• Monitor beauty trends and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
• Control expenses and ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
• Cosmetics, beauty retail or related industry experience is essential.
• Minimum 3 years’ management experience within a cosmetics or beauty retail environment.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving retail performance.
