Corporate Sales Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Consultant to drive strategic business growth throughout Cape Town and the Western Cape, while supporting national expansion initiatives. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who enjoys building long-term partnerships, opening new markets and creating strategic opportunities within the public safety and security sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic business development plan for Cape Town, the Western Cape and selected national markets.
• Identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities within municipal, corporate and private sectors.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through proactive networking, prospecting and relationship building.
• Conduct presentations, product demonstrations and solution‑based sales meetings with prospective clients.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and tender documentation in conjunction with senior management.
• Achieve monthly and annual revenue growth targets and represent the business at networking events and industry meetings.
• Manage client onboarding from contract acceptance through implementation and maintain regular contact with existing clients.
• Work closely with operational and technical teams to ensure successful client implementation and monitor customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 (Matric) qualification; a relevant qualification in Business, Marketing, Sales, Public Safety or IT is advantageous.
• At least 5 years proven business development or solution‑sales experience with a track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong presentation, negotiation and networking abilities, with experience selling business solutions rather than products.
• Valid driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and willingness to travel within the Western Cape and nationally.
