Corporate Group Finance Manager – Johannesburg

About the role

The Corporate Group Finance Manager will lead the Group’s consolidation, reporting, financial analysis, planning and statutory audit processes. The role ensures compliance, governance and accurate financial information for executive and board decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Monthly consolidation, review, analysis and reporting of Group financial and cash‑forecast information, including Exco and Board packs.
• Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes, providing comprehensive commentary.
• Manage cash‑flow, debtors, creditors, forecasts and payment approvals.
• Oversee statutory compliance (VAT, PAYE, Customs, Income Tax) and the annual statutory audit.
• Develop and implement financial systems, processes, controls and accounting policies.

Required profile

• CA(SA) registration with at least 5 years in a finance management role.
• Minimum 3 years of group/consolidation experience in a company with R2 billion turnover.
• Experience in infrastructure project companies.
• Strong analytical, detail‑oriented and deadline‑driven mindset.

Required skills

• Strong IFRS knowledge, including group consolidations.
• Familiarity with BuildSmart and Finnivo (advantageous).
• High proficiency in MS Office.
