About the role
Our client is seeking a reliable and vigilant Control Room Controller to join the operations team at Airport City, Cape Town. The role involves monitoring critical systems, responding to incidents, and ensuring that security and operational procedures are strictly followed.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor operational systems, alarms, CCTV and other control room equipment.
- Respond promptly to incidents and escalate according to company procedures.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of all activities within the control room.
- Communicate effectively with relevant departments and personnel.
- Adhere to security protocols and operational guidelines at all times.
Required profile
- Previous experience working in a control room environment.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure.
- Willingness to work a 24‑hour rotating shift schedule.

What we offer
- Salary of R10 000 per month.
- 12‑hour rotating shift pattern (4 days, 4 nights, 4 days off).
- Permanent employment contract.
