Continuous Improvement Engineer

About the role

The Continuous Improvement Engineer will lead improvement initiatives at our Rosslyn manufacturing plant, driving productivity, efficiency, quality and cost performance. Working closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain teams, you will apply engineering principles to optimise workflows, reduce waste and support data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse production processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Apply industrial engineering techniques to increase output, reduce waste and improve cost efficiency.
• Develop and implement manufacturing methods, material‑handling solutions and layout designs.
• Coordinate movement of raw and finished goods and maintain manufacturing information systems.
• Perform mathematical calculations, cost analysis and financial planning support.
• Resolve production problems and ensure sustainable, measurable improvements.

Required profile

• Grade 12 with a tertiary qualification in Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 10 + years experience in industrial/continuous improvement engineering, preferably in trailer manufacturing or a similar production environment.
• Valid Code 8 driver’s licence.
• Strong understanding of quality management principles and lean manufacturing.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of quality management systems.
