Content Strategist – Fintech Marketing

About the role

Ozow is seeking a Content Strategist who will turn strategic direction into finished content across long‑form, web, social and collateral. You will research, write, brief production partners and own the brand’s social channels, building genuine product and industry authority.

Key responsibilities

• Write high‑quality long‑form pieces, white papers, case studies, web copy, social posts and supporting collateral.
• Translate a single content idea into multiple formats and channels while preserving substance.
• Conduct deep research on payments products and industry trends to inform content.
• Develop and manage production briefs for design, animation and video, coordinating internal studio and external partners.
• Own Ozow’s social channels end‑to‑end – publishing, community management and performance reporting.
• Measure content and channel performance against lead, conversion and revenue metrics and adjust strategy accordingly.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in marketing, communications, journalism or related field.
• Portfolio demonstrating long‑form and technical writing across multiple formats.
• Experience writing for a knowledgeable B2B audience, preferably in payments, fintech or complex‑product sectors.
• Hands‑on experience managing social media channels, including publishing, reporting and community engagement.
• Proven ability to create detailed production briefs for design, animation or video.

Required skills

• Strong research and technical writing capabilities.
• Proficiency with work‑management and collaboration tools for brief intake and delivery tracking.
• Ability to apply AI‑assisted research and drafting tools responsibly.
• Understanding of content performance metrics and data‑driven optimisation.
