Content Specialist (Hybrid) – Cape Town

About the role

Join a technology‑driven social media video business that blends data and creativity to produce content for global corporations and large brands. The company also runs Africa’s largest food and recipe social media platform, serving major food and FMCG brands.

Key responsibilities

• Own campaign strategy from the initial client brief through to delivery, translating briefs into insight‑led, platform‑first creator strategies.
• Lead creator sourcing, recipe ideation, develop briefs and manage briefing sessions.
• Oversee production across campaigns and act as the quality gate for all assets before client delivery.
• Monitor performance throughout the lifecycle, recommending creative pivots or reinvestment opportunities.
• Lead strategic reporting, crafting narratives that explain performance beyond raw metrics.
• Produce actionable insights and recommendations for clients while identifying long‑term learnings.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in content strategy, influencer marketing, digital marketing, social strategy or FMCG brand marketing.
• Proven experience developing content strategies for food, beverage or FMCG brands and overseeing creator campaigns from briefing to delivery.
• Relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, Media, Advertising or a related field.
• Strong strategic thinker with deep knowledge of food culture, recipe content and FMCG purchasing behaviour.
• Ability to interpret campaign data, tell compelling stories and maintain high creative standards.
• Previous team leadership or mentoring experience.
