Content Creator & Social Media Manager

About the role

We are seeking a talented Content Creator & Social Media Manager to lead our online presence in Cape Town. The role combines content production and social media strategy, working closely with the head designer, directors and external consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube).
• Develop and execute the company’s social media strategy aligned with overall marketing.
• Plan annual and monthly content calendars, identifying opportunities linked to business developments, events and trends.
• Design and run online promotions, competitions and audience‑engagement initiatives.
• Analyse performance data, produce reports for management and refine tactics.
• Maintain and distribute the company newsletter.
• Engage with industry posts, respond to direct messages and comments.
• Collaborate with the in‑house graphic designer to produce visual assets for Instagram and other platforms.
• Photograph and film day‑to‑day business activities, edit images and short videos for reels, stories, YouTube and TikTok.
• Create newsletter layouts using Mailchimp and leverage AI tools for efficient content creation.
