Content and Marketing Executive

About the role

TechRound is a fast‑growing online publication covering startups, technology and entrepreneurship across the UK, Europe, the US and the Middle East. We are looking for a Content and Marketing Executive to create and publish editorial material, support marketing campaigns and assist with research on innovative companies. The position is fully remote and reports directly to the Editor and the marketing team.

Key responsibilities

• Publish 2‑3 articles daily on the TechRound website using WordPress.
• Research startups, tech news and emerging trends in target regions.
• Assist in planning and executing weekly and monthly marketing campaigns and feature lists.
• Collaborate with the editorial team on special features, lists and competition organisation.
• Conduct outreach, manage business‑development opportunities and coordinate client interviews.
• Provide administrative support for monthly competitions and related tasks.

Required profile

• Native or bilingual proficiency in English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Basic understanding of WordPress and content management workflows.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and digital marketing campaigns is a plus.

What we offer

• Remote full‑time position with a starting salary of R15,000 per month, increasing to R17,000 after probation.
