Consultant – Strategic Program Management

About the role

North Highland is seeking a Consultant to join its Strategic Program Management practice in Johannesburg. You will help clients turn strategy into reality by managing projects end‑to‑end and delivering lasting impact.

Key responsibilities

• Own all aspects of project management, from planning to delivery, ensuring high‑quality outcomes for clients.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to elevate brand awareness, support integrated campaigns, and drive employee advocacy.
• Develop and deliver presentations, written deliverables, and facilitate client and internal workshops.
• Contribute to business development proposals and identify new growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal peers.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant project management experience.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to uncover new opportunities.
• Strong time‑management, planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style to build consensus.
• Structured approach to solving complex problems.
• Flexibility and collaboration skills in fast‑moving environments.
• Bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree or professional certifications are a plus.
• Authorized to work in South Africa without visa sponsorship.
