Construction Support Manager – Centurion

About the role

The Construction Support Manager will lead operational support across multiple construction sites in Centurion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards. This senior role coordinates administration, procurement, compliance and resource management to enable smooth project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all construction support functions across active sites, including documentation, procurement assistance and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, company policies and industry standards.
• Support project managers with planning, scheduling and operational coordination.
• Monitor project progress, budgets and resource allocation, providing timely updates to senior management.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, clients and internal departments to maintain seamless operations.
• Oversee support staff performance, fleet, equipment and site resource coordination.
• Prepare management reports, project updates and operational analyses.
• Assist with tender documentation, contracts and project onboarding.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with a tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in the construction industry and at least 3 years in a management role within construction support or operations.
• Strong understanding of construction project processes, site operations and contractor coordination.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to sites as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with construction or project management software systems.
