Construction Piping Supervisor – Site Management

About the role

The successful candidate will supervise all piping construction activities on site, ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, environmental, quality, and schedule requirements. This role supports the Construction Manager in delivering the project on time and to client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and monitor construction contractors to comply with HSES policies, site regulations, and client requirements.
• Ensure work follows the latest Approved for Construction (AFC) drawings, specifications, ITPs, procedures, and site instructions.
• Oversee quality and HSE aspects of work within the assigned area, identifying hazards and enforcing risk treatment plans.
• Coordinate with the Site Quality Coordinator and Site Engineering to maintain work quality and resolve technical queries.
• Inspect contractor work, verify conformance with drawings and specifications, and monitor material and equipment installation.
• Assist in planning construction methods, interpreting engineering drawings, and preparing field sketches of revisions.

Required profile

• Botswana citizenship with legal right to work in Botswana.
• Proven experience supervising construction activities, preferably in piping projects.
• Strong knowledge of HSE policies, risk assessment, and quality control processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and ITPs.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with contractors, engineers, and HSE advisors.
