Compliance Training Lead

About the role

Hollywoodbets is seeking a Compliance Training Lead to join its Purple Team in Umhlanga, Durban. You will design, deliver and manage compliance learning programmes that keep the organisation aligned with regulatory requirements across gaming, finance and retail sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an annual compliance training plan aligned with regulatory mandates.
• Translate legal and regulatory updates into practical training interventions.
• Conduct training needs analysis linked to risk exposure and build structured learning road‑maps.
• Ensure mandatory regulatory training (AML/FICA, POPIA, Responsible Gambling, etc.) is current and compliant.
• Oversee creation of e‑learning modules, workshops, toolkits and assessments, using blended and micro‑learning approaches.
• Monitor training completion rates, maintain LMS accuracy and prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
• Drive ethical culture initiatives, awareness campaigns and support HR on compliance‑related disciplinary trends.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements based on incident trends.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in compliance, risk or learning & development within a regulated environment.
• Experience in gaming, financial services, banking or retail compliance preferred.
• Strong exposure to audit environments.
• Degree in Law, Risk, HR or related field (preferred).
• Relevant compliance or instructional design certifications (preferred).
