Compliance Officer

About the role

The Compliance Officer will support the execution of Compliance Risk Management processes within Corporate and Investment Banking. The role ensures activities are performed in line with regulatory requirements, protecting the organisation from operational losses, fines, penalties and reputational damage while supporting competitive advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and monitor compliance risk management activities across corporate and investment banking units.
• Identify and assess regulatory requirements and upcoming developments affecting banking products and services.
• Collaborate with business units to embed compliant practices and avoid operational losses.
• Document compliance findings, maintain internal controls, and support audit processes.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on compliance matters.

Required profile

• Degree in Audit, Business Commerce or Law.
• 5‑7 years of experience in compliance within corporate or investment banking.
• Strong knowledge of financial industry regulatory frameworks and banking products.
• Ability to evaluate internal controls and manage risk awareness.
• Excellent analytical, decision‑making and documentation skills.
