About the role
Allmed Healthcare Professionals is looking for compassionate caregivers to deliver high‑quality, home‑based and facility care in Wellington, Western Cape. You will support patients in daily living activities, promote their wellbeing, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, grooming and daily living tasks.
- Support mobility, safe transfers and positioning.
- Administer prescribed medication under supervision.
- Monitor and record vital signs.
- Prepare nutritious meals following dietary plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe living space.
- Provide emotional companionship and support.
- Report any health changes to supervising nurses.
Required profile
- Relevant Caregiver or Home‑Based Care certificate.
- Minimum 1 year of hands‑on caregiving experience.
- Valid South African ID or work permit.
- Clear criminal record check.
- Excellent communication in English or Afrikaans.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts.
- Residence in or near Wellington preferred.
