Community Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Community Manager to own the day-to-day experience of our talent community and public presence across platforms where fractional work and senior independent professionals engage. You will work closely with the marketing team and report to the founding team, focusing on execution, engagement, and referral growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, grow, and nurture a community of 2,000+ senior fractional executives, handling onboarding, engagement, and moderation.
• Execute the existing community strategy and deliver on a defined backlog of initiatives.
• Drive a talent referral program by encouraging members to refer companies they have worked with.
• Expand community presence on external channels, especially Reddit and professional discussion platforms.
• Conduct social listening on Reddit, LinkedIn and similar spaces to identify conversations and engage authentically.
• Support cross‑posting of content to improve discoverability and organic growth.
• Handle inbound support questions from talent and companies, escalating product issues when needed.
• Track engagement, referral, and community health metrics and iterate based on insights.

Required profile

• 3+ years of community management experience, preferably within professional, executive, or operator communities.
• Strong written communication with executive presence; comfortable engaging senior leaders in real‑time discussions.
• High judgment in moderation and handling sensitive or escalated situations independently.
• Self‑directed, execution‑focused and able to turn defined priorities into outcomes without close supervision.
• Proactive and persistent in outreach while maintaining strong relationships.

Required skills

• Experience building presence or engagement on Reddit and LinkedIn.
• Proficiency with modern AI tools, Slack, Notion, and Google Workspace.
