Community and Marketing Coordinator

About the role

As the Community & Marketing Coordinator at CampusKey you will be the heartbeat of campus life, bringing students together, building relationships and promoting the CampusKey brand. You will organise events, manage social media channels and ensure every student feels part of the community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute social, wellness, sport, kindness and workshop events, including Freshers & Kick‑start Week.
• Run campus‑level Instagram and TikTok accounts – creating, posting and engaging with content.
• Capture photo and video material for central campaigns and maintain campus website information.
• Manage daily student communications via WhatsApp, email and direct messages, and handle crisis communication with central support.
• Support mentors, collaborate with local brands and keep communal spaces on‑brand and welcoming.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused, energetic and enthusiastic connector with a passion for youth culture.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, calm under pressure.
• Valid driver’s licence, own car and fluency in English and Afrikaans (additional language a plus).

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Experienced with Canva and basic design tools.
