About the role

Old Mutual is recruiting a Commissioned Financial Adviser for its Three Rivers, Vereeniging and Meyerton area. The role champions customers' lifetime goals by identifying their financial needs, giving sound financial advice and recommending and implementing fit-for-purpose financial plans and solutions. It is open to self-motivated, dynamic people with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Key responsibilities

Procure new business
Expand sales of products and services with existing customers
Work mainly on your own leads

Required profile

NQF Level 5 qualification (Higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate) or equivalent (required)
Openness to being appointed from the designated group in line with the Employment Equity Plan of Old Mutual South Africa

Required skills

Sales competencies: building trust, consultative selling, direct selling, strategic selling, strengthening customer relationships, sales data management and sales software
Soft skills: customer focus, communication, stakeholder balancing, collaboration and accountability
