Commissioned Financial Adviser (Level 1)

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a self‑motivated, dynamic individual to join its financial advisory team in Lebowakgomo. As a Commissioned Financial Adviser‑1 you will help customers achieve their long‑term financial goals by identifying needs, offering sound advice and delivering tailored financial solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess customers’ financial needs and objectives.
• Provide professional financial advice and recommend appropriate products.
• Develop and implement fit‑for‑purpose financial plans.
• Procure new business and expand sales of existing products and services.
• Manage a personal pipeline of leads and maintain strong customer relationships.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, entrepreneurial spirit and strong consultative selling mindset.
• Ability to build trust and communicate effectively with clients.
• Education: NQF Level 5 – Higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate or equivalent.
