Commissioned Financial Adviser – Durban Region

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a self‑motivated Commissioned Financial Adviser to serve customers across Umhlanga, La Lucia, Phoenix, Verulam, KwaMashu and surrounding areas. You will help clients achieve their long‑term financial goals by understanding their needs and delivering tailored advice.

Key responsibilities

• Identify clients’ financial needs and provide sound, personalised advice.
• Recommend and implement fit‑for‑purpose financial plans and solutions.
• Procure new business through proactive outreach and lead generation.
• Expand sales of Old Mutual products and services with existing customers.
• Manage your own sales pipeline and maintain accurate sales data.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong drive for results.
• Excellent communication and consultative selling abilities.
• Ability to build trust and maintain long‑term client relationships.
• Education: NQF Level 5 – Higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate or equivalent.
