Commercial Trade Manager

About the role

The Trade Manager will develop, manage and grow strategic relationships with vehicle retailers, wholesalers and OEM partners across Gauteng and nationally. The focus is to position the business as the preferred tyre supply and fitment partner, driving tyre volume and long‑term channel growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic relationships with new and used vehicle dealerships, wholesalers and OEM partners.
• Negotiate pricing structures, commercial terms, service agreements and national supply arrangements.
• Secure tyre supply and fitment agreements for dealership groups and OEM partners.
• Drive tyre volumes through PDI, used‑vehicle reconditioning and replacement programmes.
• Coordinate tyre supply and fitment support for dealer groups nationally, including fitment and redistribution models.
• Work closely with operations to ensure consistent service levels, turnaround times and stock availability.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the South African vehicle retail and wholesale environment (new and used).
• Ability to manage group‑level negotiations and national dealership agreements.
• Commercial knowledge of PDI processes, used‑vehicle reconditioning and tyre replacement cycles.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regionally and nationally.
