Commercial Telematics Supervisor

About the role

The Commercial Telematics Supervisor will leverage telematics data to support risk‑management initiatives, driving market development and commercial partnerships for connected vehicle solutions across South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client acquisition targeting large fleets, leasing companies and logistics enterprises to meet sales targets.
• Integrate telematics solutions with the national dealership network, embedding them into new vehicle sales processes.
• Develop relationships with insurers and banks to promote Usage‑Based Insurance (UBI) and data‑driven financing solutions.
• Plan and execute local marketing activities, seminars and roadshows for fleet owners and transport managers.
• Provide system training, conduct regular customer reviews and relay feedback to the product team for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Matric or higher; Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Transportation, Automotive Engineering or Marketing preferred.
• 3‑5 years experience in commercial vehicle management, asset finance or insurance.
• Strong network within the South African commercial vehicle dealer community.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Valid Code 8 driver’s licence.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
