Commercial Specialist – Business Unit

About the role
The Business Unit Commercial Specialist will lead and implement PPM strategies, driving market share growth and revenue performance for a leading FMCG company. You will work closely with sales, marketing and supply chain teams to translate data insights into actionable plans.
Key responsibilities
- Manage market share data, data warehouse and analytics.
- Conduct market share analysis, tracking and reporting to key stakeholders.
- Apply forecasting methodologies to set volume budgets and monitor performance.
- Track sales performance, distribution, trade/consumer campaigns and new product launches to identify gaps.
- Provide insights to sales teams for target setting and action plans.
- Analyze weekly demand vs. sales to inform supply‑chain planning and feed S&OP.
- Build monthly sales targets and quarterly incentive plans.
- Support channel reporting, insights, target setting and deal tracking.
- End‑to‑end management of short‑term incentive processes.
Required profile
- Minimum 3‑year Business degree.
- 5+ years of commercial experience in FMCG, including sales, marketing and customer marketing.
- Strong analytical, strategic and creative thinking with high intellectual curiosity.
- Excellent emotional intelligence and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
- Bias for action and experience with in‑market pilots and tests.
