Commercial Pricing Specialist – Renewable Energy

About the role

We are looking for a commercially‑minded Pricing Specialist to develop and maintain robust pricing and financial models that support our renewable energy business growth. The role works closely with sales, operations, procurement and finance to ensure proposals are profitable and aligned with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance pricing and financial models for tenders, proposals, business planning and valuation.
• Review tender requirements and create commercial models that meet client specifications while achieving profitability targets.
• Analyse complex financial and operational data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Prepare and present commercial models, highlighting opportunities to improve profitability and mitigate risk.
• Produce regular reporting on revenues, margins, benchmarking, quarterly forecasts and annual projections.
• Develop detailed costing models for customer proposals, balancing commercial requirements with business objectives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Procurement and Finance to deliver commercially viable solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial modelling, pricing or commercial specialist roles within the renewable energy or power sector.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
