About the role

We are seeking a driven Commercial Law Attorney to join our dynamic legal team in Bedfordview. The successful candidate will provide expert counsel on a wide range of commercial matters, supporting both existing and new clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage acquisitions, liquidations, and sequestrations for corporate clients.
• Handle evictions and specialized contract drafting, ensuring compliance with South African law.
• Oversee trust and company registrations, guiding clients through complex statutory processes.
• Lead high‑court litigation, preparing pleadings, motions and representing clients in court.
• Maintain strong client relationships through professional communication and timely advice.

Required profile

• Law degree (required) and a valid driver’s licence with own transport.
• Significant commercial legal experience, particularly in acquisitions, liquidations, evictions and high‑court litigation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple matters efficiently and meet billable targets.
