Commercial Analyst

About the role

The Commercial Analyst will turn data into actionable commercial insight for a fast‑growing premium drinks company. Reporting to the Head of National Key Accounts, you will support strategic decisions across sales, pricing, trade investment and forecasting within the liquor and beverages sector.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse sales performance, pricing, profitability and trade spend.
• Generate market and consumer insights to guide product and channel strategies.
• Evaluate trade promotions and their effectiveness.
• Develop forecasting models and demand‑planning tools.
• Create dashboards and regular reports for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Finance to drive profitable growth.

Required profile

• Degree in Commerce, Statistics, Data Science, Logistics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial analysis or business intelligence experience.
• Experience in FMCG, liquor or beverages industry is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to translate data insights into tangible business outcomes.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau or equivalent BI tools.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted analytical tools for automated insight generation.
• Strong data analysis capabilities, including trend, variance and pattern analysis.
