Commercial Analyst – Cellular, Connectivity, Insurance & Media

About the role

The Commercial Analyst will drive profitable growth for the Cellular, Connectivity, Insurance and Media portfolios by delivering financial modelling, commercial analysis and strategic insights. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, the analyst translates complex financial and market data into actionable recommendations that support investment decisions and business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate new business ideas and assess the profitability of existing initiatives.
• Provide in‑depth commercial analysis, identify trends and deliver insights that improve business performance.
• Represent finance in multifunctional project teams and conduct comprehensive competitor analysis.
• Create visualisations of financial insights using graphs and PowerPoint presentations.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators across business areas and prepare supporting information for business cases and CapEx requests.
• Document and manage the execution of new projects, ensuring adherence to guidelines and reporting on actual versus projected outcomes.

Required profile

• Chartered accountant qualification or equivalent professional credential.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, modelling and data analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Financial modelling expertise.
• PowerPoint for creating presentations.
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
