Collections Consultant

About the role

Join Nimble Credit Solutions as a Collections Consultant, where you will engage with customers who have outstanding debt obligations and negotiate mutually beneficial payment plans. This role focuses on building human connections while driving collections performance in a supportive, dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed individual collection targets through effective communication and negotiation.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment arrangements and collection actions.
• Engage with customers empathetically to negotiate payment plans that benefit both the customer and Nimble.
• Resolve customer queries or disputes promptly while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum Matric qualification (or equivalent) and at least 6 months experience in outbound debt collections, sales or customer service.
• Positive credit record and clear criminal record.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable, results‑driven and able to work well in a team.
