About the role

Join Business Directive Contract Services as a Code 8 Delivery Driver and become a key part of our fast‑growing logistics team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for safely transporting parcels to customers while upholding our standards of integrity, efficiency, and exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver items according to safety protocols and scheduled time‑frames.
• Verify order accuracy before and after delivery, ensuring correct charges and customer satisfaction.
• Provide prompt, professional responses to customer inquiries and resolve any issues.
• Comply with all traffic laws and company regulations to maintain a secure delivery process.
• Coordinate with dispatch using clear communication to keep the delivery workflow organized.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine inspections, and report any mechanical problems.
• Handle confidential delivery information responsibly.

Required profile

• Matric or equivalent (NCV L4) qualification.
• Valid Code 8 or Code 10 driver’s licence with a current PDP.
• Clear criminal record.
• 2–3 years of courier or delivery experience, preferably on Cape Town routes.
• Own Android‑based smartphone for navigation and communication.
• Ability to work shift patterns and be a flexible team player.
• Proficient reading, writing and speaking English.
