About the role
A seasonal Coastal Monitor X4 position is open from 19 October 2026 to 2 November 2026 in the Overstrand area. The role involves reporting to the stations named in your appointment letter and working shifts on weekends and public holidays.
Required profile
- Grade 12 or equivalent technical qualification
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Applicants must be older than 18 years
- Good communication and public relations skills in at least two of the official languages of the Western Cape
- Physically strong and healthy
- Resident of Overstrand; holidaymakers will not be considered
- Preference given to unemployed residents of the Overstrand municipal area
- Available to work shifts on weekends and public holidays
