About the role
A seasonal position as a Coastal Monitor X2 at the Prawn Flats Slipway in Hermanus, open from 19 October 2026 to 2 November 2026. The role involves reporting to the various stations mentioned in the appointment letter and working shifts on weekends and public holidays.
Required profile
- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 qualification, and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Applicants must be older than 18 years
- Good communication and public relations skills in at least two of the official languages of the Western Cape
- Physically strong and healthy
- Must live in the Overstrand area; holidaymakers will not be considered
- Preference given to unemployed residents of the Overstrand municipality
- Available to work shifts on weekends and public holidays
