Cloud Engineer

About the role

Join a leading technology team to design, build and optimise enterprise‑scale cloud environments. You will work closely with development and DevOps teams to deliver secure, high‑performance solutions on Microsoft Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to automate deployment and integration.
• Build and manage containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Support hybrid and multi‑cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration.
• Manage networking and security configurations across cloud and data‑centre platforms.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and maintain high availability.
• Optimise cloud usage for cost efficiency and performance.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of cloud engineering experience, primarily with Microsoft Azure.
• Azure certifications (required) and additional cloud or infrastructure certifications (advantageous).
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams.
• Organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
