Cloud Engineer – AWS & Terraform

About the role

The Cloud Engineer will own and evolve the company’s cloud infrastructure, ensuring stability, security and scalability as the business expands across multiple countries. This role drives best‑practice implementation, modernises legacy systems and delivers production‑grade solutions on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve cloud infrastructure across the platform.
• Drive infrastructure best practices, security and reliability.
• Lead modernisation initiatives and improve existing systems.
• Design and implement scalable, production‑grade cloud solutions.
• Create clear implementation and improvement plans and execute them with team support.
• Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps.
• Hands‑on, production‑grade experience with AWS.
• Proven ability to design and operate scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of Linux, networking fundamentals and cloud architecture.
• Solid system and architecture design capability.

Required skills

• AWS (deep, production‑grade experience).
• Terraform (infrastructure‑as‑code).
• Linux fundamentals.
• Networking fundamentals.
• Kubernetes (in addition to ECS).
• Ansible.
• Prometheus.
• Datadog.
• Python (automation and tooling).
• Bash (advanced scripting).
• CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
