Clinical Nurse (R/N) - PB Qualified (12 Months) - ICU

About the role

The Professional/Clinical Nurse will provide holistic, person‑centred care to ICU patients at Netcare Moot Hospital. This 12‑month full‑time position requires coordination with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care for critically ill patients.
• Document all nursing activities accurately and maintain up‑to‑date patient records.
• Act as a patient advocate, communicating with families and health‑care professionals.
• Support and mentor junior staff and assist with clinical decision‑making.
• Collaborate with the nursing management team to improve unit processes and patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Registered Professional Nurse (R/N) qualification, PB‑qualified.
• Experience in an intensive care setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of nursing theories, holistic care, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining compassion and dignity.
