Clinical Nurse (R/N) – Experienced Theatre Recovery

About the role

The Professional Nurse/Clinical Nurse at Netcare Moot Hospital is responsible for delivering holistic, person‑centred care to patients recovering from theatre procedures. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, coordinating care and acting as an advocate for patients and families.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care for theatre recovery patients.
• Serve as a clinical resource, supporting staff in documentation and care delivery.
• Facilitate communication between families, health professionals and nursing management to resolve care issues.
• Initiate and manage emergency treatment (RESUS) across all hospital wards as needed.
• Maintain compliance with standard operating procedures, nursing theories and medical directives.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (R/N) with proven experience in theatre recovery or similar acute care settings.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families and health professionals.

Required skills

• RESUS (resuscitation) competency.
