Clinical Nurse (R/N) – Experienced Medical Unit (Ward E)

About the role

The Clinical Nurse (R/N) will work on Ward E of Netcare Linksfield Hospital, providing holistic, person‑centred care to patients in an experienced medical unit. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan and implement individualized nursing interventions for patients and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop personalized care plans.
• Deliver direct and indirect nursing care, addressing physical, social and spiritual needs.
• Coordinate care with doctors, therapists and other health professionals.
• Apply evidence‑based nursing theories and clinical guidelines.
• Utilize educational and technical resources to support patient recovery.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (R/N) with experience in a medical unit.
• Strong ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Commitment to delivering holistic, patient‑focused care.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• IV therapy administration.
• Medication administration and monitoring.
