About the role

The Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) will lead the delivery of safe, competent and person‑centred nursing care within the Rustenburg clinic, ensuring quality assurance and efficient execution of prescribed treatment plans.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and deliver safe, competent, person‑centred nursing and clinical care in the unit.
• Plan, source, coordinate and supervise the delivery of quality nursing services, including precepting new and less‑experienced staff.
• Ensure compliance with financial, procurement and stock management policies to support treatment plans.
• Maintain safety, health, environment and quality standards, conduct SHEQ risk assessments and manage incident reporting.
• Oversee accurate medication administration, drug register compliance and electronic health record documentation.

Required profile

• Qualified Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) with experience in nursing leadership.
• Ability to act as a clinical resource, mentor and role model for best professional practice.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and self‑management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR) systems.
• Strong medication administration and drug register management.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks such as POPIA and ISO 9001.
• Experience conducting SHEQ risk assessments and implementing corrective actions.
